Hey there Major Labels đź“Ł

--

So, we’ve gotta talk about something serious here. A glimpse into the future of your business…

It’s later 2023, 2024, 2025… 🔮🔭

You’re kind of like the uptight boss that no one of the talented newcomers, established artists and AAA acts really wants to work for. Yeah, you’ve got the money, the power, and the connections, but you’re missing one key thing: a little thing called a “holistic approach” aka. mental health awareness and mindset management.” — or in short: good attitude.

Here’s the thing — in this day and age, artists are taking the reins and doing things their own way. They don’t need you as much as you think they do. But if you want to stay in the game, you’ve gotta

👏🏼 change 👏🏽 your 👏🏾 tune 👏🏿

If you want to build a lasting relationship with your artists, you need to see them as human beings, not just products. That means creating a position that’s all about building a strong, human connection with your artists.

❌ We’re not talking about some boring old product manager here.

No, we’re talking about a cool, friendly person who can help your artists navigate their brand in the industry and take care of their mental health and wellbeing at the same time. Make sure they’re focused on building a strong, human connection with your artists. by seeing them and translating between business and creative part.

1️) Listen up!

Your artists know what they’re doing, and you need to listen to them. Stop acting like you know everything and take a step back. They’re the ones creating the art, after all.

Yes, we know that artists need to understand the business side of things, but let’s be real, most of them just want to focus on making great music and looking cool on stage. Can you blame them?

2) Be fair.

No one wants to sign a contract that’s going to screw them over. Be transparent and show some love to the people who are making you money. It’s really not that hard.

3) Get with the times!

You can’t expect to stick to old-school ways and still be relevant. Embrace new approaches, technology and platforms that allow artists to connect with fans directly. It’s not rocket science.

So, Major Labels, it’s time to change your ways. Treat your artists like partners, not commodities. And let’s all have some fun as a team in this crazy music industry. Connecting business and creativity. 💥✨

I’m happy to help! 🎶✨
